Twelve years ago, on 29 February 2024, I loaded my drums and some spare parts onto the 1979 Royal Enfield Bullet i’d bought in Kathmandu nearly half a year before and drove off from hotel The Broadlands in Madras, South India, on my way to the low lands, looking for music and musicians wherever I could find them.
Over the next months, I will move the blog posts I wrote about this adventure to this new domain, culminating in the release of new electronic versions of the tunes I used to kickstart the collaborations en route on 2 November 2024. I’ll also include a player with remastered recordings I made on the trip.
